Green Light Candidates
Adrian Carle (LCP)

Adrian is an Outstanding Green Light Candidate
Adrian Carle brings over 25 years of experience in media and advertising to his candidacy, offering a deep understanding of communication, leadership, and the power of messaging to drive real change. Throughout his career, Adrian has led teams, managed complex projects, and worked with people from all walks of life. His ability to listen, connect, and find common ground has made him a trusted figure in both business and community spaces.
Adrian’s leadership style is rooted in empathy and practical thinking. He believes that collaboration and respect are key to solving big problems—especially when it comes to issues as urgent and misunderstood as drug policy. After years of watching the failures of the current approach to drug use in Australia, Adrian is convinced we need a new path forward.
He is passionate about drug law reform and firmly believes the current system is broken. “What we’re doing now simply isn’t working,” he says. “It’s time for a smarter, evidence-based approach—one that treats people with dignity and focuses on harm reduction.” Adrian supports the legalisation and regulation of cannabis as a safer, more sensible alternative to criminalisation.
Through Legalise Cannabis, Adrian is committed to driving meaningful reform, improving public health outcomes, and opening up new opportunities for education, innovation, and economic growth. He’s ready to bring his skills and his voice to Parliament—and he’s ready to listen.
LCP supports the 3Rs and endorses the Climate Rescue Accord
Kate Dezarnaulds (Independent)

Kate is part of the Community Independents Project
Kate Dezarnaulds is a community leader and entrepreneur who has strengthened Gilmore through innovation and action. As President of the Berry Chamber of Commerce, she doubled membership post-COVID and helped the village win “Top Tourism Town” three years in a row. Her own business was named Shoalhaven Small Business of the Year in 2024.
She’s led major regional initiatives, including the $4.7 million ‘Investing in Rural Community Futures’ program, supporting over 120 grassroots organisations through bushfire recovery. Kate is running to deliver practical solutions for housing, healthcare, and climate resilience—because Gilmore deserves leadership that listens and acts with integrity.
Debbie Killian (Greens)

For 30 years I’ve been standing up for what’s right.
I have worked in education, community services, health and local government helping ordinary people who struggle to get access to services most of us take for granted.
I have campaigned for First Nations Justice, humane treatment of refugees, and environmental protection.
In Gilmore I see people struggling to afford housing and weekly expenses and little relief coming from government. The needs of our people and our beautiful environment matter.
I’m running for Gilmore because the 2 major parties have let us down. Too often their policies don’t address our concerns.
- Feel let down by Labor?
- Don’t want Dutton?
- Vote 1 Greens on both ballot papers and use your preferences wisely.
With your vote we’ll keep Dutton out and push Labor to:
- Stand up for Climate Action. Labor have approved 33 new coal and gas projects in this term. The Greens will stand against fossil fuel corporations and bring energy costs down.
- Bring Dental and Mental Health into Medicare and make GP visits free . 1,000 new healthcare clinics to provide free GP, nurse, dental and psychologist consultations.
- Freeze and cap rents, build affordable and public homes. Pay for investment in new housing by phasing out tax breaks for wealthy investors including negative gearing.
- Bring back free Uni and TAFE. Wipe out all student debt and boost funding to public schools.
- Tax big corporations and billionaires to pay for this.
TRAFFIC LIGHT VOTING GUIDE ASSESSMENT WARNINGTRAFFIC LIGHT VOTING GUIDE ASSESSMENT WARNING
The team at Vote Climate One may change our Traffic Light voting advice right up to shortly before election day. For instance it is very difficult to access ranking information from parties or candidates who have no public email, phone number or little internet profile. In these cases, we apply the precautionary principle with a Red Light ranking until further information and commitment to climate rescue comes to hand.
Please contact us if you have local information which could effect our rankings. Phone Rob 0n 0427 580 803
The major parties have let the Australian public down when it comes a serious policy commitment to action on the ecological and climate crisis. Consequently, we have assessed both the Labor party and the Coalition as Red Light parties. Nevertheless, in relation to our Traffic Light Voting guides, the Labor party has been ranked orange ahead of the Coalition which remains a stubborn Red Light proposition.
The House of Representitives
Labor is ranked Orange for the House of Reps. The opportunity for a Green Transition, sparked by the influence of a progressive cross bench holding the balance of power in a Labor minority government, is our bet bet for climate rescue.
The Senate
Likewise our senate Traffic Light Voting Guides also promote Labor ahead of the Coalition using an Orange Light status. This stategy will help discourage the worst senario for climate action which would result from a combative Coalition/right wing party majority in the senate.
