Brendan Sturcke (Greens)

I’m a father and dog owner who has spent 30 years working as a rescue and safety professional in the mining industry.
On my days off, you’ll find me playing tennis, carrying a tune on my harmonica or walking my gorgeous dog, Violet, along Coogee beach at sunrise.
I first realised I needed to step up and be a voice for change during my time volunteering to support homeless people. Everyone deserves to have a roof over their head, but we won’t get the action on housing our community needs unless we start voting for it.
Cockburn is a special place – that’s why I’m standing up for action to stop AUKUS. Families and residents in Cockburn want strong communities, good schools, public transport, and action on housing. With AUKUS, the only guarantees are nuclear waste and a big fat nuclear target on our corner of WA.
This election we have a real opportunity to get more Greens into parliament to push the government further and faster on issues that matter to Cockburn.
Without your support, we can’t make a Green future happen.
Join me in making change this state election!
