About Judy Hannan

Judy has represented her community as Wollondilly Councillor for 17 years, including 3 years as Mayor. She is an optometrist and Chair of the Australian Optometry Board.

Judy is passionate about issues facing the electorate, including climate and disaster resilience, public transport and the need for a Picton Bypass. She opposes the raising of the Warragamba Dam Wall, which will threaten indigenous heritage. She is passionate about protecting the local Koala population,  the largest recovering population in the Sydney Basin, from land clearing.

Judy is a Wollondilly local of 32 years, where she has raised her family and is concerned about the Earth we will leave behind for her grandchildren.
