Adam Cropp

I’m not a career politician. I value truth, transparency and open governance. I represent voters who want a government that will end the current suffering of everyday Australians. Someone who will advocate equality of opportunity. Someone who’s not in the pocket of industry or religious donors. Someone who is able to balance the needs of the environment with those of the economy and Australia’s future.

I am appalled by the increasing censorship in the media, government and public discussion. Australians have a right to know what the government is doing in their name, journalists have a right to do their jobs without fear of prosecution, and whistleblowers have a right to protection under the law.

Our individual and collective rights are under attack by those who seek to exploit Australians for profit. We must work together to place strong checks and balances on those in power and enshrine our rights as Australians in a constitutional bill of rights so future governments cannot take away our fundamental human rights ever again.

Fusion has the best policies to lead Australia into a bright and sustainable future. Join us today!

Adam grew up in Port Douglas and from his earliest days, he was surrounded by the things he loves most: the myriad marine creatures inhabiting the Great Barrier Reef and the tranquil tropical rainforests of the Daintree National Park.

During his formative years, Adam was dragged tirelessly around the world by his documentary-producing parents, instilling a deep passion for conserving these remote ecosystems and their exotic creatures.

Since finishing his studies, Adam has worked in a range of vocations: Dive Supervisor on the Great Barrier Reef; Educational Officer at Gold Coast’s Sea World; Captain and Engineer aboard a variety of ships and Expedition Leader from the remote jungles of Papua New Guinea to the frosty frontiers of Antarctica and everywhere in between for National Geographic.
