This green light party has an inspiring climate policy. Number their candidates before orange and red on your ballot paper.

“My interest is in science, technology, and astronomy. That is ultimately where I want to be. But Australia’s current political climate not only makes any progress in those areas almost impossible, but I also wouldn’t be able to sleep at night working on advancing the bleeding edge while the tail end is being left behind.

Max Martucci

My interest in social issues began when I was around 13. My love of science, technology and astronomy makes me a fierce progressive at heart. Progressive in the sense that we as a society should constantly be improving and making things better. Constant progress is how we survive. Yet, what I saw as I got older was a government that did everything to impede progress. That didn’t sit well with me.

When I came across TNL I knew I had to join them. They were a party that embodied what I saw a progressive party should be. But most importantly was their economic framework. TNL doesn’t subscribe to the neoliberal belief that has inhibited any serious progress in society for years. This is by far and away the most important thing about TNL and indicated they were serious about change. So, I contacted Victor and joined. Now I’m running as the candidate for Hawke, an area I grew up around and most of my friends live in.

I don’t want a career in politics in the same way most other politicians are looking for a comfy job to sit in until they retire. My interest is in science, technology, and astronomy. That is ultimately where I want to be. But Australia’s current political climate not only makes any progress in those areas almost impossible, but I also wouldn’t be able to sleep at night working on advancing the bleeding edge while the tail end is being left behind. Progress should be found in all areas of society.
