I have served in local government as an elected Greens Councillor, where I was committed to making our community a more liveable, fairer and sustainable place. I want to continue this work as your federal representative – your vote is powerful, and together we can create a better future for all.
It is essential we have a strong advocate in Bruce to tackle the climate crisis, but the major parties continue to back more coal and gas. Unless we stop both using and mining these fossil fuels our way of life is under threat, but it doesn’t have to be this way.
I am focussed on addressing climate change, as well as the other issues that directly affect our community including a lack of affordable and quality public health and education. We need to make sure big corporations and billionaires pay their fair share of tax, so we can get dental and mental health into Medicare, and make sure essential services like child care are free and guaranteed for all.
