MY FIRST CAREER AS A VETERINARIAN TOOK ME ACROSS AUSTRALIA, INCLUDING TASMANIA. 

Returning in 2011, I settled in Penguin and have furthered my career as a doctor at Mersey and Burnie Emergency Departments, and sporadically as a GP in numerous NW towns. 

As a doctor, I am up to date with the medical evidence on climate change and am aware it is making us sick.

As a small tourist accommodation operator, I can also see first-hand how protecting our wild places, which make the North West so special, also makes economic sense.

I am standing for the Greens because they, ultimately, put the long-term health of people first.
