As a former local government councillor and hardworking local, the interests of the La Trobe community are at the forefront of my mind. I am a registered nurse working in a busy emergency department, so providing quality care has been a guiding force throughout my career in the healthcare sector. I am committed to continuing that as your local representative – building thriving communities and caring for people is what has always driven me.
We need action now to secure a healthy environment for future generations, and with the Greens in balance of power we can push the next government to go further and faster on climate change. In the balance of power, we can make the billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share, and, with the money, we can make urgent investments in renewables, and we can defend and extend Medicare.
In the diverse electorate of La Trobe we have had rapid population growth, but the services are yet to catch up. These policies will ensure we can look after the fundamentals, by keeping our community safe, healthy and able to thrive.
