Tina is part of the Community Independents Project

Berowra’s stunning bushland and national parks are not just a source of pride—they’re part of our identity.

I’ve walked these trails with my kids and know just how precious they are. But overdevelopment and climate inaction put everything we love about Berowra at risk.

I’m committed to protecting our environment and leading the charge on real climate action.

Here’s what I’ll do:

  • Oppose developments that threaten our bushland and local heritage.
  • Advocate for increased investment in renewable energy infrastructure, creating local jobs and reducing emissions.
  • Secure funding for bushland regeneration projects to protect our environment for future generations.

Martin Cousins (Greens)

I have worked in energy efficiency and climate change all that time and have strived to make a positive impact my whole career.

As an active community member, I participate in several council environmental programs including bush care and endangered species protection. I have leading roles in energy industry and sporting associations.

I have a strong sense of fairness and equality. I am frightened by the thought that a growing number of our community, from the young to the very old, are struggling to find secure, affordable housing. Only the Greens promise real action to make housing more affordable and accessible – a place of security rather than an investment.

I am proud of the Greens other cost-of-living policies – such as dental and mental health into Medicare and Free Uni and TAFE. We continue to push the major parties to make a real difference on cost of living. With your vote, the Greens will continue this important work.

Of course, protection of the environment has always been a key policy focus for the Greens. With global temperatures hitting records and more and more species becoming endangered or extinct, this work is more important than ever. Australia’s future is renewable energy now, not a nuclear energy pipe dream.

The Greens have a proven track record of getting better outcomes from the major parties. They have a comprehensive, coherent set of policies that will solve the cost-of-living crises and protect our environment. With your help we can all have a brighter future.

The team at Vote Climate One may change our Traffic Light voting advice right up to shortly before election day. For instance it is very difficult to access ranking information from parties or candidates who have no public email, phone number or little internet profile. In these cases, we apply the precautionary principle with a Red Light ranking until further information and commitment to climate rescue comes to hand.

Please contact us if you have local information which could effect our rankings. Phone Rob 0n 0427 580 803

The House of Representitives

Labor is ranked Orange for the House of Reps. The opportunity for a Green Transition, sparked by the influence of a progressive cross bench holding the balance of power in a Labor minority government, is our bet bet for climate rescue.

The Senate

Likewise our senate Traffic Light Voting Guides also promote Labor ahead of the Coalition using an Orange Light status. This stategy will help discourage the worst senario for climate action which would result from a combative Coalition/right wing party majority in the senate.
