Green Light Candidates
Malcolm Parry (LCQ)
Malcolm is an outstanding Green Light Candidate
MALCOLM PARRY is a retired Computer Analyst/Programmer and a long-term advocate for home growing cannabis for personal adult use and for lowering the cost for medical use.
He has surfed for over forty years and still likes to boogie board when he gets the chance. He is interested in fishing and rock fossicking along with being very conscious of environmental issues, for example, a proposed coal mine in a region’s food bowl is a big no-go!
He sees the expansion of medicare to include hearing, vision and oral care as a dire need that must be met. He knows there is more that can be done about the cost of living including by capping rent increases.
When it comes to the ‘problem’ of youth crime, he personally believes that by making parents/guardians and/or enablers of the minority of youth whom commit serious crimes more culpable, this will help lower the incarceration rate of Queensland youth.
He would like to see an increase in hemp productivity to make smarter sustainable commercial choices, in particular for the building industry, to meet the challenges of the Australian climate.

Esther Vale (Greens)
Things are so difficult right now. Rent and mortgages are too expensive, houses cost a fortune and families are struggling to put food on the table because groceries cost too much.
But this October, we have a huge opportunity for positive change.
Unlike the major parties, the Greens don’t take donations from big corporations, so I will represent you, not vested interests.
The Greens will tax big corporations fairly and use that money to build 100,000 homes, make our schools and healthcare genuinely free, stop price gouging and lower power bills by transitioning to 100% publicly owned renewable energy. We will increase public transport across our state and make it free. We’ll also freeze rents and cap increases.
The Greens will make groceries cheaper by breaking up the duopoly power of Coles and Woolies and stopping corporate price gouging for essentials. We’ll take back control of our economy by bringing key infrastructure and services into public ownership.
This time, vote Greens.
