All candidates from the Australian Greens have been allocated a green light after our rigorous assessment process. The party advocates for an immediate freeze on all new coal, oil and gas projects. They have a comprehensive and fully-costed climate plan which aims for a 100% transition to renewable energy. The plan takes into consideration the economic and social impact of climate change and the measures required to prevent further global warming.

I grew up in Mentone and am a proud Bayside local. I’ve held leadership roles in a range of local organisations and as a representative for Australia in sport. I love our area and I believe we deserve better. 

With green space and beautiful coastline in our electorate, protecting our natural environment is a vital part of preserving the uniqueness of our area. We are already experiencing the dangerous impacts of the climate crisis. Victoria is one of the world’s largest per-capita emitters of greenhouse gases with a large percentage due to brown coal. Only the Greens have a plan to tackle the climate crisis by replacing coal and gas with 100% renewable energy by 2030.
