Lisa Bellamy (Independent)

Lisa qualifies as an Outstanding Green Light Candidate

I’m Lisa Bellamy, and I’m running as an independent for the federal seat of Robertson because our community — and our country — are at a crossroads.
As a proud mother, grandmother, and advocate, I bring a wealth of experience as a small business owner, environmentalist, and former University of Newcastle Revenue Accountant. I’m also the President of the Kariong Progress Association and volunteer with wildlife rescue.

My lived experience shapes my vision for change:
“I’ve rented, owned a home, run a small business, and raised children on the Central Coast. I know the struggles of making ends meet and the challenges locals face.”

I believe the future of the Central Coast lies in balancing economic growth with environmental protection, community health, and food security.

Cheryl Wallace (Greens)

Driven by a deep commitment to the Greens’ Four Pillars—ecological sustainability, grassroots democracy, social justice, peace and non-violence—I seek to represent the Greens in Robertson in the 2025 Federal Election. These principles have guided my life and professional career, spanning over four decades in healthcare and community service.

As a Registered Nurse with 45 years of experience, I’ve developed extensive expertise in public health, infectious diseases, hospital management, clinical governance, and nursing education. This background has given me firsthand insight into our healthcare system’s challenges and the urgent need for reform to ensure equitable access for all Australians.

My dedication to community service extends beyond my professional life. Since joining the Central Coast Greens in 2021, I’ve brought the same passion that led me to become a foundational member of the Riverina Greens in 2002. I serve as Director of Education at my local Surf Life Saving Club, where I deliver training and perform regular patrol duties as a First Aider and Bronze Medallion holder. I also volunteer with Oz Harvest, fighting food waste while addressing food insecurity in our community.

My commitment to environmental protection is demonstrated through my previous roles as a Rural Fire Service operational firefighter and local Landcare coordinator on the NSW South Coast from 2014 to 2020. These experiences have strengthened my resolve to address climate change and protect our natural environment for future generations.

As a mother of three and grandmother of eight, I understand the importance of creating a sustainable and equitable future for all families. My active lifestyle—including hiking, swimming, and cycling—keeps me connected to our beautiful coastal environment and reinforces my determination to preserve it.

My broad experience in healthcare, proven leadership in community organisations, and unwavering commitment to Greens values make me a strong candidate to represent our community in the Federal election, where I pledge to bring ethical decision-making, practical experience, and a passionate voice for progressive change.

The team at Vote Climate One may change our Traffic Light voting advice right up to shortly before election day. For instance it is very difficult to access ranking information from parties or candidates who have no public email, phone number or little internet profile. In these cases, we apply the precautionary principle with a Red Light ranking until further information and commitment to climate rescue comes to hand.

Please contact us if you have local information which could effect our rankings. Phone Rob 0n 0427 580 803

The House of Representatives

Labor is ranked Orange for the House of Reps. The opportunity for a Green Transition, sparked by the influence of a progressive cross bench holding the balance of power in a Labor minority government, is our bet bet for climate rescue.

The Senate

Likewise our senate Traffic Light Voting Guides also promote Labor ahead of the Coalition using an Orange Light status. This strategy will help discourage the worst scenario for climate action which would result from a combative Coalition/right wing party majority in the senate.
