Green Light Candidates
Isabel Mudford (Greens)

Hey, I’m Isabel and I’m excited to be running for the seat of Canberra in the upcoming federal election for the ACT Greens! I’m a PhD candidate, social sector worker and LGBTIQA+ advocate.
Canberrans are people who care about each other, about the beautiful and precious environment that we get to live in, they care about inequality.
Because of this, I reckon Canberrans want a member of parliament who has the capacity to serve them in these values.
For too long Labor has taken Canberra for granted, and in this term alone has approved new coal and gas projects, failed to address the housing crisis and refused to raise the rate of Jobseeker.
By voting Greens into parliament, Canberrans can have a representative who will tackle the climate and cost of living crises, and reflect the progressive values of our electorate.
