Candidates standing for this party were given a Green Light after answering all our questions in the positive. The party has a strong environmental commitment to climate action.

The Indigenous Party of Australia answered yes, yes, yes to our three fundamental questions.  The Party began in Wilcannia where the convenor Uncle Owen Whyman, a Paarkindji Malyangapa man, wants to highlight social issues of First Nations people and the lack of progress on saving the Barka, the Darling River.  
All over the country First Nations people are at the forefront of protecting their country from mining and infrastructure development.
