Green Light Candidates
Hayden Jolly (AJP)
Hayden is an Outstanding Green Light Candidate
Hayden believes that a compassionate society is one that respects and protects all animals. Haydn’s vision for Queensland includes policies that promote ethical treatment of animals, environmental sustainability, and social justice. He is committed to advocating for stronger animal protection laws, promoting cruelty-free practices, and ensuring that the voices of the voiceless are heard in the legislative process.
In addition to his passion for animal rights, Haydn volunteers for The Smith Family, focusing on helping young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. He believes in the importance of engaging with the community and listening to concerns, as together they can create a better future for both animals and people.
Haydn invites everyone to join him in this vital movement for justice and compassion. Together, they can work towards a Queensland that values all life and prioritizes the well-being of the environment and its inhabitants.
The Animal Justice Party fully endorses the 3Rs and the Climate Rescue Accord
Steve Everson (Greens)
I can see that many people are struggling. Rent and mortgages are through the roof, housing is too expensive and basic groceries cost a fortune.
But this October, we have a huge opportunity for positive change.
Unlike the major parties, the Greens don’t take donations from big corporations, so I will represent you, not vested interests.
The Greens will tax big corporations fairly and use that money to build 100,000 homes, make our schools and healthcare genuinely free and lower power bills by transitioning to 100% publicly owned renewable energy. We will increase public transport across our state and make it free. We’ll also freeze rents and cap increases.
The Greens will make groceries cheaper by breaking up the duopoly power of Coles and Woolies and stopping corporate price gouging for essentials. We’ll take back control of our economy by bringing key infrastructure and services into public ownership.
This time, vote Greens.
