Recommendations and news for Riverstone

Green light candidate Tabitha PONNAMBALAM (Running)

Tabitha answered all Vote Climate One’s foundational questions convincingly. She is a very worthwhile Green Light candidate.

Ponnambalam is a long term resident in the Blacktown LGA and has lived in Australia since 1990. She was born in Sri Lanka, grew up in Zambia where she finished her High School and Tertiary education, and completed post graduate studies in the USA. She has practiced as a Solicitor in Sydney since 1996 and volunteered at the Mount Druitt Community Legal Centre where she has been Principal Solicitor. Ponnambalam served on the Management Committee of the Immigrant Women’s Speak Out, an advocacy group for migrant women.

It threatens food security, water, the economy, social cohesion and the well-being of humans and other living things. Impacts will escalate, putting …

The Greens NSW

The NSW Greens have an excellent climate policy. Their parliamentary performance supporting action on climate has been outstanding. The Greens are the only minor party which has been ranked with a Green Light. Their policies and voting record contrast starkly with the National Party who are unequivocally Red Light on climate.
